ART - Containers

Last half term our art project was containers.

We designed and then made containers using clay and paper mache.

Here is some of our work.

Trip to the Tate Modern

Last week year 5 travelled up London to visit the Tate Modern.
We travelled up by train and then visited gallery's about objects and meaning, our new art topic.

Each group had a talk by an art expert where we investigated different pieces of art work.

We sketched art work that we found interesting.

Year 5 Play Scripts

In Year 5 we have been writing our own play scripts.

This is the work of one group from Mr Hughes' Set.

Well Done.

Leave a comment and tell us what you think.

This week in year 5.

This week we took part in an NSPCC sponsored event.

During PE we worked hard and tried to do the most skips, hoops, goals or laps

The best score was Natasha who got over 500 laps and skips combined. Well done.

We are now collecting the sponsorship money for next Thursday.
